NWS updated flood outlook for the Red River Valley – A look at the numbers

The National Weather Service has issued revised a 2011 Spring Flooding Outlook for the Red River Valley and the entire region.  The outlook does not bode very well for the Fargo Moorhead area and surrounding North Dakota communities.

Updated NWS predictions for the 2011 Red River Valley floods come out tomorrow

The National Weather Service is going to issue new predictions in the morning for the flooding levels in the Red River Valley.  From the reports, the NWS is giving us a 25% chance that levels will exceed 2009 flood levels.  It also sounds that an emergency disaster declaration will be made tomorrow.
